Business Development Executive

Remote/Wokingham

As our Business Development Executive (BDE), you will be part of the fast-paced process of prospecting and generating new business opportunities!

The role will entail searching for prospective customers, setting up calls and meeting with them and demonstrating our product before entering into a relationship. Once a contract opportunity has come to fruition, you will liaise with Relationship Directors to successfully onboard new clients.

Within this role, you’ll have the opportunity to learn highly valuable skills, initiating contact with target accounts, create sophisticated email and telephone campaigns as well as learning about our AI products.

In time, the BDE will conduct high-level conversations with senior executives about their business and discuss the customer-experience challenges they face in a fast-paced digital world.

Your responsibilities

  • Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities
  • Possess the ability to write well-constructed, succinct emails as well as have a great phone manner
  • Strategise with top-producing sales people
  • Map prospective accounts around organisational structure, people and existing technology
  • Engage with executives in targeted prospect accounts
  • Orchestrate discussions with senior executives around their business needs
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects hitting key monthly and quarterly metrics
  • Leverage CRM tools to prospect into specific geographic territories and sectors
  • Proactively develop your own industry knowledge by reading trade publications and industry insights
  • Advise and help with the rest of the team where needed
  • Be an ambassador for QBox at all times.

What we need from you

The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual who is process-oriented, creative, methodical, and tenacious. They’ll need to be self-sufficient but also work effectively with a team.

To be considered, you will need to have demonstrated success in a customer service and/or sales environment and be driven to kick-start your sales career with QBox.

We as a company have embraced a hybrid-working model so this enables our employees to decide when to work from home or in the office. We would still have team days or company events (once a month or quarter) at or around our HQ in Wokingham Berkshire, some of which will be compulsory to come in for therefore candidates should be aware.
