Business Development Manager


With QBox product (SaaS product leader in its category) and the conversational AI market exploding, we are experiencing a rapid growth so we’re on the search for tech SaaS sales people who are driven by winning new business and selling cutting-edge technology to join as our next Business Development Manager!

With an opportunity to earn an uncapped bonus through demonstrating strong sales skills and passion to sell our QBox product, we’re looking for BDMs who live and breathe new business! You’ll need a minimum of 2 years’ experience and a proven record of sales for a highly technical SaaS product, with strong references and domain knowledge.

As our BDM, you’ll be expected to perform a ‘full sales-cycle’; finding prospective customers (complemented by our BDE), contacting them, meeting them and demonstrating our product before entering into a seller-buyer relationship. Once the customer has entered into a contract, you’ll work with the Relationship Directors to pass on the client to onboarding. Within this role, you’ll also need to cold contact potential new clients, conduct meetings and demonstrations before closing deals in an independent and self-sufficient way.

Your skills

We would like people that are committed to growing the business and enjoying the rewards, hence we favour a structured approach to sales and are advocates of the MEDDIC system.

We would also like someone with a learning mindset, who is committed to self-improvement whilst still being a team player and a problem solver.

  • Sales experience in SaaS sales minimum 2 years
  • Experience in selling technical products
  • Sales experience in green field product is a bonus
  • Experience to work in a scale-up SaaS business. (Under £1M rev with ambition to reach over £3M in the next 18 months)
  • Self-sufficient across the sales cycle
  • Experience in SDR is a bonus
  • Experience in or knowledge of CRM

We as a company have embraced a hybrid-working model so this enables our employees to decide when to work from home or in the office. We would still have team days or company events (once a month or quarter) at or around our HQ in Wokingham Berkshire, some of which will be compulsory to come in for therefore candidates should be aware.
