The Role
As our Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer, you can expect to be a key team member in all stages of the software development life cycle to improve test strategies, identify and resolve system malfunctions to prevent defects in production, test automation, contribute to product quality in the early stages of the product definition, and maintain the quality standard of our code. Therefore you will need to contribute your skills to develop and execute testing plans strategies (both exploratory and automated tests) before product deliveries to ensure overall product quality that meets expected standards.
Your responsibilities will include establishing and documenting QA processes and procedures; designing and implementing testing strategies, driving adoption of automation strategies and frameworks, improving test automation and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements, generate use cases to ensure that testing captures functional requirements, track quality assurance metrics and provide expert support on complex internally developed applications.

Technical skills
- Minimum 2-4+ years of industry experience in QA & Automation environment with board range of testing practices.
- Experience in BDD and Cucumber.
- Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Specflow, Cucumber for C#, Selenium Web Driver 3.0 / 4.0, Apache JMeter, Postman, Cypress.
- Strong understanding of build automation tools and experience including test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
- Technical knowledge of SQL, Web application and cloud environments are essential.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development practice.
- Experience with Unit Test and Automated Test.
- Full understanding of the pyramid of testing.
- Knowledge of cloud environments, especially Azure is strongly beneficial.
- Knowledge of Angular (JavaScript framework) is also beneficial.
- Ability to write in C# .NET and knowledge of OOP (Object Orientated Programming).
